If a date, a name, a number or a claim in one of these films is wrong, we want to know — and the correction gets published rather than quietly buried.

How to report one

Email [email protected] with the film, the timestamp, and what you believe the record actually says. A source is enormously helpful, but not required — if you can point at the minute, we can go back to the documents ourselves.

What happens then

• The claim is checked against the sources the film was built from, and against anything newer.
• If the film is right, you get an answer saying why, with the source.
• If the film is wrong, a correction goes into the pinned comment on that film, the film’s page on this site is amended, and the correction is listed below with the date.
• Where an error is serious enough to change what a chapter means, the film says so in its own description rather than being edited silently.
